Told in the voice of a returned student, the story of one professor’s brave preparation for death is one we all could benefit by. Morrie has ALS and dies a slow, gradual, and exceedingly painful death. However, instead of giving into despair and self-pity, the ALS victim uses the unique perspective of a dying man to teach people how to live.
