Book: David Copperfield

Without a doubt, this Dickens’ work deserves to be the classic it has become. Though it was written over a century ago, many of the passions and conflicts encountered by a young innocent growing up in Britain are infinitely relatable, even to an American teenager. While it didn’t earn a spot among my favorite books of all time, I found the 879 pages to be well worth the effort.
